Well that makes me nervous.

It's been great so far - I can't believe how fast he acted - I almost expected him to start signing executive orders in the middle of his speech. Considering his association with Warren I predict he will use a "let the states decide" take on gay marriage as an escape hatch. But he already pandered to the neocons with his choice of Ken Salazar. The ES act will be the sacrificial lamb.

Along with everybody else I know, I was disheartened by the Rick Warren invitation. But then, during the actual inaugural, with Aretha, and Barack, and Joseph Lowry, and a lot of liberal Dems up there, it struck me that it was Warren who was the token. And I smiled!
